In a matchup that started off on Thursday, Tank dominated Contact with a final score of 132.64 to 112.01. Contact's grade of D+ couldn't stand up to Tank's solid B+ performance. It seems like Contact needs to hit the books and improve their grades if they want to secure a win.
While Contact had a few standout players, like Tyler Lockett who exceeded his projection and scored 25.90 points, they also had their fair share of disappointments. Trey Palmer fell short of expectations and only managed to score 3.00 points. On the other hand, Tank had T.J. Hockenson as their shining star, who surpassed his projection and scored 25.60 points. However, they also had a letdown with Anthony Richardson who fell short of his projection by scoring 25.24 points.
With this victory, Tank improves their record to 2-0-0 and sits comfortably in 3rd place in the standings. Meanwhile, Contact is off to a rough start with a record of 0-2-0 and currently sits in 19th place. It's still early in the season, but Contact will need to turn things around quickly if they want to climb up the standings. Maybe a name change to 'Contact-2 Punch' could help?
Looking ahead to next week, Contact will face off against Rednecks. It's a crucial matchup for Contact to get their first win of the season. They'll need to make some strategic lineup decisions and hope for some breakout performances from their players. As for Tank, they will be going up against Fired Beavers. With their strong start to the season, Tank should continue their winning streak, but they shouldn't get too complacent. They'll need to stay focused and keep up their high-scoring performances.
