In a matchup that can only be described as a lopsided beatdown, I Am Kenough emerged victorious over Comeback Kid in Week 13 of the Hiawatha League of Champions. I Am Kenough's impressive score of 103.16 left Comeback Kid in the dust with their measly 85.58 points. Looks like Comeback Kid's D+ grade was a generous assessment.
While I Am Kenough had some standout performances, it's worth noting that Comeback Kid's players didn't exactly shine. Jake Ferguson was the lone bright spot for Comeback Kid, surpassing their projection and scoring 13.70 points. On the other hand, Austin Ekeler fell far short of expectations, mustering a mere 2.70 points. Maybe Comeback Kid should consider a lineup shakeup next time.
With this win, I Am Kenough improves their record to 6-7-0 and moves up to the 9th spot in the standings. Meanwhile, Comeback Kid's record drops to the same 6-7-0, but they remain in 7th place. It's a tough battle in the middle of the pack, but I Am Kenough clearly has the upper hand in this rivalry.
Looking ahead to next week, I Am Kenough will face off against DeKaylin Zecharius. With their recent dominating performance, I Am Kenough should be feeling confident going into the matchup. As for Comeback Kid, they'll be going head-to-head with Minor Prophets. They'll need to step up their game if they want to avoid another embarrassing defeat. Better luck next time, Comeback Kid!
