In a Thanksgiving showdown, Believeland carved up Botkin with a score of 136.20 to 68.27. Believeland's A+ grade was like a perfectly cooked turkey, while Botkin's D- grade was more like a burnt pumpkin pie. The win came early on Sunday, leaving Botkin with a taste of defeat throughout the holiday weekend.
Believeland's best player, Josh Allen, feasted on the field, scoring an impressive 37.40 points and easily surpassing his projection. On the other hand, James Conner couldn't find his appetite, falling short of his projection by scoring a meager 5.20 points. As for Botkin, their best player, Pat Freiermuth, managed to salvage a decent performance with 16.50 points, surpassing his projection. Unfortunately, Adam Thielen couldn't even finish his Thanksgiving leftovers, scoring only 0.70 points.
With this victory, Believeland improves their record to 7-5-0, maintaining their spot in 5th place. Botkin, on the other hand, drops to a dismal 3-9-0 record and remains in 12th place. It seems like Believeland had a lot to be thankful for this week, while Botkin might need to reconsider their stuffing strategy.
Looking ahead to next week, Believeland will face off against Travis in what promises to be a thrilling matchup. Believeland should keep their momentum going and aim for another delicious victory. As for Botkin, they'll be taking on The Snipers. It's time for Botkin to put their turkey pants on and try to bounce back from this tough loss. Maybe they can find some extra motivation in the leftover cranberry sauce.
