In a Thanksgiving feast of a matchup, Good luck devoured Roxy's Team with a score of 111.88 to 80.56. Good luck's A+ grade was the gravy on their turkey, while Roxy's Team's D+ grade left them feeling like a dry turkey. The win came late on Sunday, adding some suspense to the table.
Good luck's best player, Kyren Williams, roasted the competition with a whopping 32.40 points, exceeding their projected 11.16 points. On the other side of the table, Good luck's worst player, Dalton Schultz, couldn't even muster a single point, falling short of their 5.62 point projection. It's safe to say they were more of a cranberry sauce than a main dish. Roxy's Team's best player, Bijan Robinson, cooked up a solid performance with 24.30 points, surpassing their projected 11.69 points. However, their worst player, Brock Purdy, was more like a burnt dinner roll, scoring only 11.46 points when they were projected for 18.40 points.
With this win, Good luck improved their record to 8-4-0 and secured the 2nd spot in the standings. They're carving their way to the top! On the other side of the Thanksgiving table, Roxy's Team's record fell to 4-8-0, leaving them in 13th place. Looks like they'll be stuck with the leftovers.
Looking ahead, Good luck will be facing off against Chicago Thundercocks next week. Will they gobble up another victory? As for Roxy's Team, they'll be going up against Seahawk Nation. Maybe they can find a way to spice things up and bounce back from this week's loss. They'll need all the Thanksgiving luck they can get!
