In a lopsided Week 15 matchup, Aniak Taqukaqs showed no mercy and crushed We Pack the Meat with a score of 183.92 to 152.18. The winning team took the lead on Saturday and never looked back. With a solid grade of A, Aniak Taqukaqs proved once again that they are a force to be reckoned with.
Aniak Taqukaqs's best player, Jaylen Waddle, exceeded expectations by scoring an impressive 35.20 points, beating their projected score by 16.83 points. On the other hand, Josh Allen disappointed with only 18.66 points, falling short of their projected score by 13.66 points. As for We Pack the Meat, their top performer was Easton Stick, who scored 28.88 points, surpassing their projection by 9.61 points. Unfortunately, Garrett Wilson had a rough game, scoring only 5.90 points, which was far below their projected score of 14.24 points.
With this win, Aniak Taqukaqs improved their record to 9-6-0 and solidified their position in the standings at number 2. We Pack the Meat, on the other hand, dropped to a disappointing 6-9-0 record and currently sits at the 8th spot. It's safe to say that Aniak Taqukaqs is the team to beat in the league, while We Pack the Meat has some work to do if they want to salvage their season.
Looking ahead, Aniak Taqukaqs will face off against Lions vs Refs in the semifinals next week. With their dominant performance this week, Aniak Taqukaqs should enter the matchup with confidence and continue their winning streak. As for We Pack the Meat, they will be playing against Bricklaying Squirrels in the consolation semifinals. It's a chance for them to redeem themselves and end the season on a high note. Will Aniak Taqukaqs continue their reign of terror, or will We Pack the Meat find a way to turn things around? Only time will tell.
