In a battle of mediocrity, Dez Caught It managed to come out on top against Houston Heat Wave with a score of 108.10 to 100.86. The win came during the late Sunday games, proving that procrastination sometimes pays off. Dez Caught It's B- grade just barely outshined Houston Heat Wave's C-, but hey, at least they both didn't fail!
Houston Heat Wave's best player, Lamar Jackson, exceeded expectations by scoring 26.28 points, beating their projected 21.71 points. Meanwhile, Odell Beckham Jr. failed to live up to the hype, falling short of their projected 8.26 points and only scoring 2.50 points. As for Dez Caught It, Jahmyr Gibbs showed up and showed out, surpassing their projected 13.11 points by scoring 22.30 points. Unfortunately, DJ Moore didn't get the memo and fell short of their projected 12.81 points, only managing to score 3.40 points.
With this win, Dez Caught It improves their record to 5-8-0, while Houston Heat Wave falls to 7-6-0. Dez Caught It now sits at third place in the standings, while Houston Heat Wave drops to fourth. Looks like Dez Caught It managed to avoid the dreaded bottom of the barrel this season, while Houston Heat Wave can only hope for a better outcome next year.
Unfortunately, both Houston Heat Wave and Dez Caught It have reached the end of their fantasy journey for this season. While there won't be any more matchups to analyze, there's always room for improvement. Houston Heat Wave should focus on finding more consistent players next season, while Dez Caught It can take pride in their mid-level performance. Good luck to both teams in the future, and may your draft picks be ever in your favor!
