In a matchup that was over before it even started, KingoftheNorth cruised to victory over 2019 2nd place team in Week 16 of the Takeover Premier League xviii. KingoftheNorth's impressive performance earned them an A-grade, while 2019 2nd place team could only muster a disappointing D+. With a final score of 108.88 to 96.65, KingoftheNorth took the lead on Monday and never looked back.
KingoftheNorth's star player, Saquon Barkley, came through in the clutch, beating his projection by a whopping 7.28 points and scoring 25.02 points in total. Meanwhile, 2019 2nd place team's best player, Gus Edwards, fell slightly short of his projection but still managed to outperform the rest of his team with 14.95 points. On the other hand, KingoftheNorth's worst player, Jaylen Waddle, failed to live up to expectations, scoring a measly 4.78 points. 2019 2nd place team's worst player, Jonathan Mingo, had an even worse performance, scoring a dismal 1.60 points.
With this victory, KingoftheNorth improved their record to 4-10-0 and moved up to 11th place in the standings. Meanwhile, 2019 2nd place team's record dropped to 6-8-0, leaving them in 12th place. It's safe to say that both teams won't be making the playoffs this season, but at least KingoftheNorth can hold their heads high after this dominant win over 2019 2nd place team.
As the season comes to a close, both 2019 2nd place team and KingoftheNorth will have to reflect on their performances and start preparing for next year. Unfortunately, there won't be any next week matchups for either team as the season has completed. However, KingoftheNorth can take this opportunity to bask in their victory and carry the momentum into the offseason. As for 2019 2nd place team, they'll need to regroup and strategize for a better season next year. Maybe it's time to consider some new draft picks or make some trades to strengthen their roster. Only time will tell if they can bounce back from this disappointing season.
