In a nail-biter of a matchup, Short Bus Ryderz managed to squeak out a victory over Earth-99 StL Rams with a final score of 73.98 to 69.50. The winning team took the lead on Monday, leaving Earth-99 StL Rams scrambling to catch up. With grades of B- and C- respectively, it's safe to say that both teams have some room for improvement.
Earth-99 StL Rams's best player of the week was Kenneth Walker III, who surpassed their projected score of 10.89 by scoring an impressive 18.70 points. Unfortunately, Diontae Johnson let Earth-99 StL Rams down, falling short of their projected score of 6.89 with a meager 1.70 points. On the other side, Short Bus Ryderz's shining star was Mike Evans, who outperformed their projected score of 8.60 by racking up 21.30 points. However, Derrick Henry failed to live up to expectations, scoring only 2.00 points instead of their projected 11.69.
With this win, Short Bus Ryderz improves their record to 6-4-0 and maintains their solid standing at 3rd place in the league. Meanwhile, Earth-99 StL Rams's record drops to 5-5-0, and they find themselves in 7th place. It's clear that both teams have some work to do if they want to climb up the ranks. Maybe Earth-99 StL Rams needs to take a page out of Short Bus Ryderz's book and step up their game.
Looking ahead to next week, Earth-99 StL Rams will face off against Ripsnorters. Will they be able to bounce back from this loss and come out on top? As for Short Bus Ryderz, they have a matchup against Pantheon Hulks on the horizon. They should use this week's win as motivation to continue their winning streak. Good luck to both teams!
