In a lopsided victory, WannaBes crushed Owen Sixteen with a score of 98.66 to 86.36. The winning team took the lead right from the start on Thursday, leaving Owen Sixteen in the dust. Looks like Owen Sixteen's D+ grade didn't do them any favors, while WannaBes's A+ grade proved to be a winner.
Owen Sixteen's best player, Puka Nacua, surpassed their projection by a whopping 7.49 points, scoring 16.40 points. Unfortunately, their worst player, Bijan Robinson, fell miserably short of their projection, only managing to score a measly 0.30 points. On the other hand, WannaBes's star player, Patrick Mahomes, went above and beyond, surpassing their projection by an impressive 14.27 points with a score of 36.86. However, even WannaBes had a weak link, with DJ Moore falling short of their projection and only scoring 5.40 points.
With this win, WannaBes solidifies their position at the top of the league standings with a record of 6-1-0. Owen Sixteen, on the other hand, continues to struggle with a record of 1-6-0, putting them at the bottom of the standings. It's clear that WannaBes is the team to beat this season, while Owen Sixteen might want to consider some major lineup changes.
Looking ahead to next week, Owen Sixteen will face off against Sunnydale Scoobies. With their recent loss, Owen Sixteen will need to step up their game if they hope to come out on top. As for WannaBes, they will be going up against Pantheon Hulks. Based on their dominant performance this week, WannaBes should feel confident heading into the matchup. However, they should still review their lineup and make any necessary adjustments to ensure continued success.
