In a stunning victory, Wailuku Warriors crushed West Oahu CaneFires with a score of 155.76 to 125.86. Wailuku Warriors's A-grade performance proved to be too much for West Oahu CaneFires's lackluster D+ grade. The winning team took the lead on Saturday and never looked back.
Wailuku Warriors's best player, Ty Chandler, exceeded expectations by scoring 26.20 points, beating their projection of 12.72. On the other hand, Javonte Williams disappointed with only 4.00 points, falling short of their projected 13.71. As for West Oahu CaneFires, Noah Brown shined with 24.70 points, surpassing their projection of 10.21. Unfortunately, Zay Flowers struggled and could only muster 1.70 points, failing to meet their 13.56 projection.
With this victory, Wailuku Warriors improved their record to 7-8-0, while West Oahu CaneFires's record stands at 9-6-0. Wailuku Warriors's win catapults them to 8th place in the standings, while West Oahu CaneFires remains in 4th place. The matchup between these two teams was a clash of mediocrity, but Wailuku Warriors managed to outshine West Oahu CaneFires in the end.
