In a Week 15 matchup that left Press Coverage with their heads hanging low, Savage emerged victorious with a whopping score of 486.42. The win came early on Sunday, leaving Press Coverage with no chance of a comeback. Press Coverage's abysmal grade of F couldn't hold a candle to Savage's A+. It's safe to say that Press Coverage was no match for the unstoppable force that is Savage.
Press Coverage's best player, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, exceeded expectations by beating their projection and scoring 13.00 points. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Breece Hall, who fell short of their projection by only scoring 13.70 points. On the other hand, Savage's star player, Kyren Williams, blew away their projection by scoring a whopping 76.60 points. However, Austin Ekeler couldn't quite live up to their projection and fell short with 25.93 points.
With this victory, Savage maintains their position at the top of the standings with a record of 11-3-0. Press Coverage, on the other hand, continues to struggle with a disappointing record of 5-9-0. It's clear that Savage is the team to beat this season, while Press Coverage is just trying to salvage what's left of their pride. Maybe next year, Press Coverage.
Looking ahead to next week, Savage has a tough matchup against The Rook ease in the semifinals. Will they continue their dominant performance and secure a spot in the championship? As for Press Coverage, they will face off against Anthony Scudder in the consolation semifinals. While their playoff hopes may be dashed, they still have a chance to end the season on a high note. Perhaps they can use this week's defeat as motivation to come back stronger next year.
