In a clash of underachievers, BucTowN came out on top with a commanding victory over Steel Curtain 22. With a final score of 170.45 to 111.51, BucTowN showed that they can excel when it doesn't matter anymore. Maybe they should have tried this hard earlier in the season. Steel Curtain 22, on the other hand, continued their streak of disappointment with yet another lackluster performance.
The best player for BucTowN was David Njoku, who surpassed their projected score by a whopping 7.19 points. Clearly, they were determined to prove that they can still contribute to the team, even in a meaningless matchup. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Breece Hall, who fell far short of their projected score, disappointing both the team and their fantasy owners.
With this win, BucTowN improves their record to 4-10-0, solidifying their position at the bottom of the standings. They may not be competing for a playoff spot, but at least they can take pride in knowing that they outperformed Steel Curtain 22. Speaking of Steel Curtain 22, their record now stands at 4-10-0 as well, but they find themselves one spot below BucTowN in the standings. It's a battle for the basement!
Looking ahead to next week, BucTowN will face off against Bignuts in the consolation semifinals. While it may not be the championship matchup they were hoping for, BucTowN can still salvage some pride by giving it their all in this game. As for Steel Curtain 22, they will be playing in the 11th place game against Douche Bags. It's a chance for both teams to prove that they're not the worst in the league. Good luck, but let's be honest, they'll probably need it.
