In a not-so-close matchup, Strikers came out on top with a solid B grade. They scored 443.01 points, easily surpassing their projection of 481.02. Word, on the other hand, struggled with a disappointing D grade and managed to score only 375.48 points. Looks like Strikers had no trouble putting Word in their place!
The best player for Strikers was James Cook, who surpassed his projection by a whopping 19.21 points, scoring 46.93 points in total. Meanwhile, the worst player for Strikers was Joe Burrow, who fell short of his projection by 27.77 points, scoring a measly 23.61 points. As for Word, their best player was Gus Edwards, who exceeded his projection by 15.05 points, scoring 39.35 points. Unfortunately, the worst player for Word was A.J. Brown, who fell short of his projection by a disappointing 34.12 points, scoring only 5.60 points.
With this win, Strikers improves their record to an impressive 10-1-0 and maintains their position at the top of the standings. Word, on the other hand, drops to a 7-4-0 record and slides down to the fifth spot. It seems like Strikers is truly the cream of the crop while Word is struggling to keep up.
Looking ahead, Strikers will face off against BuckeyeNation4Life next week. With their dominant performance this week, Strikers should feel confident going into the matchup.
