In a clash of mismatched teams, Steelers proved their superiority by defeating Jaguars with a score of 130.50 to 117.00. The victory was sealed on Sunday night, leaving Jaguars in the dust. It seems like Jaguars's C-grade just couldn't match up against Steelers's A-grade. Maybe next time!
Jaguars's best player, Evan Engram, had the audacity to beat their projection by a whopping 16.39 points, scoring 21.00 points in total. Meanwhile, DeMarcus Lawrence from Jaguars couldn't even come close to their projection, falling short by 4.06 points and scoring a measly 0.50 points. Better luck next time, DeMarcus Lawrence!
With this win, Steelers improved their record to 9-5-0, solidifying their position in the standings at number 6. On the other hand, Jaguars's disappointing record of 3-11-0 leaves them at the 20th spot. It's safe to say that Steelers's dominance was on full display in this matchup.
Looking ahead, Steelers has a challenging matchup against Falcons in the quarterfinals next week. They'll need to bring their A-game to continue their journey in the playoffs. As for Jaguars, well, they've unfortunately been eliminated before the playoffs. Maybe it's time for some reflection and strategizing for next season.
