In a turkey of a matchup, Houston Oilers soared to victory against Seahawks with a score of 114.00 to 99.00. Houston Oilers's A-grade performance proved to be too much for Seahawks's D+ effort. The win was sealed on Thursday, leaving Seahawks to gobble up the disappointment throughout the rest of the week.
Houston Oilers's best player, Jessie Bates III, had a feast of a game, scoring 22.50 points and surpassing their projected 4.97 points. Meanwhile, Justin Herbert couldn't quite find their appetite for success, falling short of their projected 12.04 points and only managing to score 5.00 points. On Seahawks, Josh Jacobs had a Thanksgiving feast of their own, beating their projected 8.62 points and scoring a solid 20.00 points. However, Riley Patterson couldn't even stomach a single point, falling short of their projected 11.83 points and ending up with -3.00 points.
With this win, Houston Oilers improves their record to 9-3-0, solidifying their standing at 2nd place in the league. Seahawks, on the other hand, maintains their mediocre 6-6-0 record and remains at the bottom of the standings in 12th place. It seems like Houston Oilers had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, while Seahawks might need some extra helpings of luck to turn their season around.
