In a matchup that was over before the Sunday Early games even started, SKOL’D YA crushed Bad Moon Rising with a score of 129.48 to 86.60. It's clear that SKOL’D YA didn't come to play around, earning an impressive A+ grade. They must have had a secret meeting with the fantasy gods to secure such a dominant victory.
SKOL’D YA's best player, Alvin Kamara, laughed in the face of his projected score, scoring a whopping 28.90 points, well above his projected 16.72. Meanwhile, Josh Downs must have been too busy daydreaming about his next vacation, falling short of his 11.27 projection with a measly 4.40 points. As for Bad Moon Rising, their best player, James Conner, decided to show up this week, surpassing his 11.80 projection with 22.50 points. However, Jahmyr Gibbs seemed to have misplaced his talent, failing to meet his 15.52 projection with a disappointing 6.40 points.
With this victory, SKOL’D YA improves their record to 5-8-0 and climbs to 9th place in the standings. Bad Moon Rising, on the other hand, continues to struggle with a D- grade and a record of 5-8-0, leaving them in 11th place. It seems like Bad Moon Rising might need to start looking for a new team name, because their current one clearly isn't doing them any favors.
Looking ahead to next week, SKOL’D YA will face off against Twin City Griddy Committee. Will SKOL’D YA continue their winning streak and solidify their spot in the standings? As for Bad Moon Rising, they will be going up against Showtime. Perhaps a change in opponents will bring them some much-needed luck. They better start strategizing now if they want to avoid another disappointing defeat.
