In a Thanksgiving feast of fantasy football, Common Virtue carved out a delicious victory against Bad Moon Rising. With a score of 153.72, Common Virtue served up an A+ performance, leaving Bad Moon Rising with a bitter taste and a score of 105.34. Common Virtue's win was well-timed, taking the lead on Thursday and leaving Bad Moon Rising to gobble up the leftovers.
Common Virtue's star player, Nico Collins, truly had a turkey of a game, surpassing his projected points and gobbling up 23.40 points. On the other side, Gus Edwards was the stuffing that fell short, scoring only 4.70 points instead of the projected 9.72. As for Bad Moon Rising, their top performer was Jonathan Taylor, who roasted the competition with 21.10 points, exceeding his projection by 16.76 points. Unfortunately, Saquon Barkley was as dry as overcooked turkey, scoring only 6.20 points instead of the projected 16.24.
With this victory, Common Virtue improves their record to 6-6-0 and moves up to the 5th spot in the standings. Meanwhile, Bad Moon Rising's record falls to 5-7-0, leaving them in the 9th position. It seems like Common Virtue is gobbling up wins just in time for Thanksgiving, while Bad Moon Rising is left with a plate full of disappointment.
Looking ahead, Common Virtue will face off against Twin City Griddy Committee next week. Will Common Virtue continue their winning streak and gobble up another victory? As for Bad Moon Rising, they will be facing SKOL’D YA. Can Bad Moon Rising bounce back from this Thanksgiving defeat and carve out a win? Only time will tell, but both teams should consider making some adjustments to their lineups and avoid any more turkeys on the field.
