In a Thanksgiving feast of fantasy football, Chitown Shot Callers gobbled up a victory against Canes. With a score of 170.18, Chitown Shot Callers proved to be the turkey that couldn't be beat. Canes put up a valiant effort with a score of 162.96, but it just wasn't enough to stuff Chitown Shot Callers. The win was secured early on Thanksgiving Thursday, leaving Canes with a grade of C- and a record of 5-7-0. Looks like they'll need some extra gravy to turn their season around.
Canes's best player, Josh Allen, really brought the stuffing with an impressive 42.66 points, beating their projection by a whopping 20.95 points. Talk about a Thanksgiving miracle! Unfortunately, not all players on Canes were as tasty. Austin Ekeler fell short of their projection, only scoring 10.40 points. Looks like they were more of a cranberry sauce than a main dish.
Chitown Shot Callers's A-grade performance left Canes feeling as empty as an untouched green bean casserole. With a record of 7-5-0, Chitown Shot Callers is climbing up the standings like a determined pilgrim. Meanwhile, Canes's 5-7-0 record has them sitting at 8th place, hoping for a Thanksgiving miracle to secure a playoff spot. Looks like they'll need to gobble up some wins in the remaining weeks.
Looking ahead to next week, Canes will be facing off against Texas Dawgs. Will they be able to bounce back from this Thanksgiving defeat and carve out a victory? Chitown Shot Callers, on the other hand, will be going up against Gorillas. Can they keep their winning streak going and feast on another victory? Only time will tell, but both teams should make sure to have plenty of leftovers for the week ahead.
