Wanted to invite all you guys back, but wanted to let you know of the changes for the new year...nothing major.
1)Yahoo is allowing kickers to score according to the length of the FG, so every 10 yards equals one point, and there are fraction points. So the example they used, if a kicker makes a 19 yard field goal, that counts for 1.9 points. I really like this idea and want to include it this year.
2) No divisions...just would like to open it up and really just make sure we get the 6 best teams in the playoffs. Not one division winner getting in, just because they won the division.
3)Added scoring for when a QB throws for over 300 yards, RB rushes for over 100 yards, or receiver has over 100 receiving yards. 5 additional points for any of the above. I have played in a few leagues that do this additional scoring, and enjoy it.
So I just wanted to be up front with all the owners, and if this is something that you really don't think you'll enjoy or like, no hard feelings if you want out. Let me know if you have any questions and hope to see you back this year.
