In a matchup that can only be described as a one-sided beatdown, Big Bad Doormat crushed Evil Chase Monsters with a final score of 179.50 to 152.86. The victory was sealed on Sunday late, leaving Evil Chase Monsters no chance for a comeback. With an impressive grade of A+ compared to Evil Chase Monsters's dismal C-, it's clear who the real fantasy powerhouse is.
Big Bad Doormat's star player, George Pickens, had a field day on the field, surpassing expectations with a whopping 35.50 points. On the other hand, Big Bad Doormat's worst player, Sam LaPorta, couldn't quite find their footing and fell short of their projection with a measly 3.30 points. As for Evil Chase Monsters, their shining star was Derek Carr, who outperformed with 31.96 points. Unfortunately, Tommy DeVito couldn't live up to the hype and only managed to score 2.70 points.
Big Bad Doormat's victory not only improves their record to 7-7-0, but also solidifies their position in 8th place. Meanwhile, Evil Chase Monsters's disappointing loss keeps them at a mediocre 6-8-0 record and drops them down to 9th place. It's safe to say that Big Bad Doormat has established their dominance over Evil Chase Monsters, and the standings reflect that.
Looking ahead to next week, Big Bad Doormat will be facing off against Bald Scrotums of Despair in the 7th place game. With their recent stellar performance, Big Bad Doormat should feel confident going into the matchup. As for Evil Chase Monsters, they'll be battling it out against Mad Monkeys in the 9th place game. It's a chance for redemption, but they'll need to step up their game if they want to end the season on a high note.
