In a turkey of a matchup, Mountaineers gobbled up a victory against Bulletproof Brandt in Week 12 of the Ada-T.V. Superbowl League. The winning team took the lead on Thursday and never looked back, leaving Bulletproof Brandt in the dust. With a grade of A-, Mountaineers proved that they were no turkey on Thanksgiving, scoring a solid 89.25 points. Meanwhile, Bulletproof Brandt struggled to bring home the bacon with a grade of D- and a measly 53.75 points.
Mountaineers had some standout performances from their players. Matthew Stafford was the MVP of the team, surpassing their projection by a whopping 9.34 points and scoring 25.65 points in total. On the other hand, Austin Ekeler was a real turkey for Mountaineers, falling short of their projection by 7.82 points and only managing to score 4.40 points. As for Bulletproof Brandt, their shining star was Lamar Jackson, who exceeded their projection by 5.51 points and scored 16.75 points. Unfortunately, Cooper Kupp couldn't live up to expectations for Bulletproof Brandt, falling short of their projection by a disappointing 9.37 points and only scoring 1.80 points.
With this win, Mountaineers improved their record to 8-4-0 and solidified their position in the standings at number 2. They're definitely the top turkey in the league right now. As for Bulletproof Brandt, their record now stands at 5-7-0, and they find themselves at the bottom of the standings in 8th place. Looks like they'll need some extra stuffing if they want to make a comeback.
Looking ahead to next week, Mountaineers will face off against Buckmasters in what promises to be a gravy train of a matchup. With their strong performance this week, Mountaineers should feel confident going into the game. As for Bulletproof Brandt, they'll be going up against Grim Reapers. They'll need to bring their A-game and maybe even some cranberry sauce if they want to bounce back from this week's disappointing loss. Will they be able to gobble up a victory? Only time will tell.
