In a Thanksgiving feast of fantasy football, Firestorm roasted Spokane Sith with a score of 122.00 to 106.82. The victory came early on Sunday, leaving Spokane Sith with a side of disappointment. Firestorm's impressive A-grade performance was too much for Spokane Sith's D+ effort.
Firestorm's best player, Mike Evans, really stuffed the stat sheet, surpassing their projection by 11.71 points and gobbling up 22.00 points. On the other hand, Geno Smith couldn't quite bring home the turkey, falling short of their projection by 9.48 points and only mustering 7.30 points. Spokane Sith's top performer, Jake Elliott, managed to exceed expectations by 0.36 points, but it was just a small appetizer compared to the feast of victory. Unfortunately, Jahmyr Gibbs couldn't find their way to the cranberry sauce, falling short of their projection by 3.85 points.
With this win, Firestorm's record improves to 8-4-0, keeping them in 3rd place in the league standings. Spokane Sith, on the other hand, drops to 7-5-0 and slides down to 4th place. It seems like Firestorm has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, while Spokane Sith may need some extra helpings of luck to bounce back.
Looking ahead to next week, Firestorm will face off against Slim Pickens in what promises to be a turkey of a matchup. Firestorm should keep their momentum going and make sure to bring their A-game to secure another victory. As for Spokane Sith, they will be taking on Laces Out. It's time for Spokane Sith to shake off the stuffing from this week's loss and come back stronger. They'll need to gobble up some extra points if they want to bounce back and stay in the playoff hunt.
