In a match that was over before the weekend even began, Leafs & Wolverines crushed Steelers with a score of 147.32 to 80.34. Looks like Leafs & Wolverines's A-grade was no joke, as they outperformed their projected score of 144.12. Steelers, on the other hand, couldn't even muster up a passing grade with their disappointing D-grade.
Leafs & Wolverines's best player, Rayshawn Jenkins, really showed up this week, beating their projection by a whopping 13.36 points. Meanwhile, Leafs & Wolverines's worst player, Najee Harris, didn't even come close to meeting expectations, falling short by 9.44 points. As for Steelers, their best player, Demario Davis, exceeded expectations by 10.28 points, while their worst player, Justin Fields, couldn't even reach half of their projection, missing it by 10.70 points.
With this victory, Leafs & Wolverines improves their record to 8-7-0, currently sitting at 8th place in the standings. Steelers, unfortunately, remains at the bottom with a record of 6-9-0 and a standing of 17th. It seems like Leafs & Wolverines is making a late-season push for the playoffs, while Steelers will have to settle for a disappointing end to their season.
Looking ahead, Leafs & Wolverines has a consolation semifinals matchup against TP3 next week. With their dominant performance this week, Leafs & Wolverines should feel confident going into the matchup. As for Steelers, they've been eliminated from the playoffs, so there's no next week for them. Maybe they can start planning their draft strategy for next season instead.
