In a matchup that had everyone on the edge of their seats, Zeus’s Wrath came out on top with a score of 81.14, securing the win on Monday. Despite their B+ grade, Zeus’s Wrath managed to outshine Winter Soldiers, who received a C-. Looks like grades aren't everything!
Zeus’s Wrath's best player of the week was Adam Thielen, who exceeded expectations with a whopping 16.70 points, beating their projection of 6.75. On the other hand, Tony Pollard disappointed with only 4.40 points, falling short of their 11.54 projection. Winter Soldiers's shining star was Jaleel McLaughlin, who surpassed their projection of 7.04 with 14.90 points. However, Lamar Jackson failed to live up to expectations, scoring only 10.94 points instead of the projected 19.90.
With this win, Zeus’s Wrath improves their record to 5-0-0 and maintains their standing at 2nd place in the league. Winter Soldiers, on the other hand, falls to a 3-2-0 record and drops to 5th place. It seems like Zeus’s Wrath's success is no fluke, while Winter Soldiers will need to step up their game to climb back up the standings. Will they be able to turn things around?
Looking ahead to next week, Zeus’s Wrath will face off against New Season New QB Again. Zeus’s Wrath should use this victory as motivation to keep their winning streak alive and maintain their dominance. As for Winter Soldiers, they will be going up against GOD’s Squad. It's a chance for them to bounce back from this defeat and prove that they are a force to be reckoned with.
