Smokemen Gobbles Up a Thanksgiving Win Against Crimea River

In a Thanksgiving showdown, Smokemen stuffed themselves with a victory, gobbling up a score of 330.98 points. Crimea River tried to bring some holiday cheer with a score of 247.10 points, but it wasn't enough to satisfy their hunger for a win. Looks like Smokemen is the one feasting at the top of the standings, while Crimea River is left with a Thanksgiving turkey of a grade, a D.

Crimea River's best player, Jordyn Brooks, proved to be a Thanksgiving hero by devouring his 9.92 projection and scoring an impressive 36.00 points. Unfortunately, not all of Crimea River's players were as hungry for success. Adam Thielen must have filled up on too much stuffing, as they fell short of their 13.58 projection with a measly 1.20 points. On the other side of the table, Smokemen's star player, D.J. Reed, brought some Thanksgiving magic by surpassing his 12.26 projection with a solid 30.00 points. However, Brock Purdy must have had too much pumpkin pie, as they couldn't reach their 22.48 projection, ending the day with only 11.28 points.

With this win, Smokemen improves their record to 6-6-0 and maintains their spot in the top half of the standings at number 8. Crimea River, on the other hand, drops to a disappointing 4-7-1 and is stuck near the bottom at number 15. It seems like Smokemen has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, while Crimea River might need some extra helpings of luck to turn their season around.
