This will help greatly in ensuring the payouts are allocated to the winners very rapidly at the end of the season.
Additionally for keeper league: this league has a late draft. I don’t expect anyone to front the money 3 months ahead even though LS is now activated. The correct deadline is set and can be viewed on LS. With that being said, for those who haven’t responded to the email about draft times to avoid, please confirm with a quick message whether you wish to keep your spot. They will be reserved up to a week after I send out the official email with all my leagues for 2023 at the end of the month (June). -
Season interruption payouts
NFL suspends or cancels activities between week 9 and prior to week 15 being completed (Fantasy playoffs quarters) and doesn’t resume for 8 consecutive weeks following the suspension or resume within the 8 week window with a shortened amount of games &/or not including all 32 NFL teams, the top 6 ranked teams at the time of suspension will be declared equal winners and split the pot evenly.
Same conditions as above leading to NFL Suspension:
- During week 16 matchup (semi finals) will lead to 4 remaining teams splitting pot evenly.
- During Week 17 suspension, both teams playing for 3rd will split the third place prize while the two league finalist will split the remainder of prize.
- Prior to week 9 cancellation, league refund as soon as permitted by LeagueSafe. -
Buy-ins & Payouts:
League fee $55 via LeagueSafe (total prize pot $550)
Payout for playoffs: $325 Champion; $150 Finalist; $75 3rd place
Draft Order Determination (See specific post) :
Year 2 & + :
Pick selection #1 to #4 … based on consolation bracket. No tanking rewarded! Win the consolation bracket, you get to choose your draft position first!
Pick selection #5 to #10 … based on championship bracket. Champion gets to choose his draft position #5 and so on...
Trades:
Draft picks may be traded; however, it needs to even out. You need to receive the same amount of picks as you are trading away. You may only trade picks for the upcoming season… (In 2021, you are trading 2022 draft picks or 2021 picks prior to our draft date)
There will be two trade deadlines:
1) The normal in season deadline (see league settings). Trading re-openes after week 17 as soon as Yahoo reopen the leagues.
2) The keeper deadline in August will also serve as an off-season trade deadline (approximately 1 week prior to draft date). This is to allow time to manually enter all the traded picks, keepers & off-season trades into their right spot for the online live draft.
Please note that all off-season trades become official when both teams have completed their buy-ins. This does NOT prevent any team from trading prior to completing the payment It simply protects the league in terms of recruitment of new player(s) if someone was to drop out or disappear.

Every trade is accepted unless cheating is involved!
Keepers:
3 Keepers!! (cannot keep less or more)
Keeper can be kept for 3 consecutive years (including free agents picked up week 17, counts as 1 year)
Cost:
1 round penalty per season. This means in Year 3 of keeping the same player, he will cost you a 2 Round Penalty.
Also important to keep in mind… unless you acquire a second 1st round pick via trade, you will only be able to keep either your 1st or 2nd round player in Year 2 given both will cost you a 1st rounder to keep.
2 players kept with same draft cost results in a two round penalty for 1 of the players. ( If you plan on keeping 2 players at 10th value cost and only own one 10th round pick, your 9th round pick will become the cost for the second player. You may choose who gets the 10th & 9th given it could have an impact down the road. If you don’t specify, it will be done randomly when I manually enter the picks.
A Free Agent/Waiver Wire player: Keeper cost Round 10th (Year 2); Round 9 (Year 3)
Should a player be drafted, then dropped at any point in the season, he is NOT considered a Free Agent / Waiver. He will keep his current season draft value.
Traded players regain year 1 value on their new team.
2020 Player Drafted Rd 10 Year 1 Team A
2021 Player kept for Rd 9 draft pick Year 2 Team A
2022 Player kept for Rd 8 draft pick Year 3 Team A = traded to team B during season.
2022 Year 1 for Team B.
2023 Player kept for Rd 7 draft pick Year 2 Team B
2024 Player kept for Rd 6 draft pick Year 3 Team B, After season player cannot be kept, needs be traded or back to the draft.
