In a nail-biting matchup, D 9 emerged victorious over 3B-1 with a score of 145.53 to 140.20. The win was secured early on Thursday, leaving 3B-1 with no chance for a comeback. Both teams put up a good fight, but D 9's B- grade proved to be just enough to edge out 3B-1's C- grade.
D 9's best player of the week was Breece Hall, who surpassed his projected points by 13.66, scoring an impressive 25.50 points. On the other hand, Jahmyr Gibbs failed to live up to expectations, falling short of his projection by 8.30 points and only managing to score 5.30 points. As for 3B-1, their top performer was Cairo Santos, who exceeded his projected points by 8.14, tallying 15.00 points. Unfortunately, Justin Jefferson disappointed with a performance that fell short of his projection by 7.74 points, scoring only 7.95 points.
With this victory, D 9 improved their record to 6-9-0, while 3B-1 also ended the season with a 6-9-0 record. In the final standings, D 9 finished in 7th place, just ahead of 3B-1 in 8th place. It's safe to say that both teams had a rollercoaster of a season, but at least they managed to end on a high note.
With the season now completed, both D 9 and 3B-1 can hang up their fantasy football hats and reflect on their performances. While D 9 can celebrate their win, they should also take note of the areas where they fell short and look to improve next season. As for 3B-1, they should not let this loss dampen their spirits and instead use it as motivation to come back stronger next year. Although their journey in this league has come to an end, there will always be another season to prove themselves as fantasy football champions.
