In a Thanksgiving showdown, Simon Phoenix gobbled up a win against Good Pickens. With a score of 135.42, Simon Phoenix left Good Pickens feeling stuffed with their score of 116.98. Looks like Good Pickens's D+ grade didn't quite cut it against Simon Phoenix's A-.
Good Pickens's best player, Josh Jacobs, showed some turkey-tude by beating their projection and scoring 25.50 points. Unfortunately, their worst player, Puka Nacua, couldn't quite find their stuffing and fell short of their projection with only 6.70 points. On the other side, Simon Phoenix's best player, Deebo Samuel, really brought the gravy by surpassing their projection with 22.40 points. However, their worst player, Tua Tagovailoa, seemed to have too much tryptophan and fell short of their projection with 9.82 points.
With this win, Simon Phoenix improves their record to 6-6-0, while Good Pickens remains at the bottom of the standings with a record of 3-9-0. It seems like Simon Phoenix's turkey trot is paying off, as they sit comfortably in 6th place. Good Pickens, on the other hand, may need to reconsider their game plan for next year's Thanksgiving matchup.
Looking ahead to next week, Simon Phoenix will be facing 🅱️💣Ⓜ️🅱️ Squad in what promises to be a delicious matchup. With their recent win, Simon Phoenix should keep their momentum going and aim for another turkey dinner. As for Good Pickens, they will be facing Get The Strap 💥. It's time for Good Pickens to shake off the tryptophan and bring their A-game if they want to avoid being carved up by Get The Strap 💥.
