In a turkey of a matchup, Los Angeles Chargers gobbled up a victory against Las Vegas Raiders. Los Angeles Chargers emerged as the Thanksgiving champion, scoring 217.34 points, while Las Vegas Raiders stumbled with a score of 207.90. Looks like Los Angeles Chargers had a feast while Las Vegas Raiders was left with leftovers. It's clear who's eating good this Thanksgiving.
Las Vegas Raiders's best player, Josh Jacobs, really brought his appetite to the game, surpassing his projection of 16.08 with a whopping 41.50 points. Talk about a turkey with all the fixings! Unfortunately for Las Vegas Raiders, Chad Muma must have had too much tryptophan because he fell short of his 16.04 projection, scoring a big fat zero. Looks like he's going to need a strong cup of coffee to wake up from that Thanksgiving nap. As for Los Angeles Chargers, Zay Flowers may have only scored 24.70 points, but he still managed to outshine his projection of 16.24. And speaking of sleep, Marcus Peters must have been in a turkey-induced food coma because he failed to meet his projection of 12.83, also scoring zero points.
With this win, Los Angeles Chargers improved their record to 8-4-0 and maintained their 4th place standing in the league. Meanwhile, Las Vegas Raiders's record dropped to a dismal 3-9-0, leaving them in 19th place. Looks like Los Angeles Chargers is feasting at the top of the standings while Las Vegas Raiders is scraping the bottom of the cranberry sauce can.
Looking ahead to next week, Los Angeles Chargers will face off against Cincinnati Bengals. Will Los Angeles Chargers continue their Thanksgiving winning streak, or will they end up with a plate full of regrets? As for Las Vegas Raiders, they'll be taking on Cleveland Browns. Can Las Vegas Raiders bounce back from their Thanksgiving defeat and carve out a victory, or will they be left with a wishbone and a whole lot of disappointment? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure, these teams will need more than just leftovers to secure a win next week.
