In a matchup that went down to the wire, FinsNoMoore managed to squeak out a victory over Tua Many Concussions. Despite both teams receiving lackluster grades, FinsNoMoore came out on top with a score of 93.94, narrowly surpassing Tua Many Concussions's 91.56. The win came Sunday night, adding an extra layer of suspense to an already tense matchup.
FinsNoMoore's star player of the week was Rachaad White, who exceeded expectations with a stellar performance of 20.9 points, beating their projected score of 12.97. On the flip side, Derrick Henry failed to live up to expectations for FinsNoMoore, falling short of their projected score of 11.30 with a disappointing 3 points. As for Tua Many Concussions, David Njoku stole the show with an impressive 21.4 points, surpassing their projected score of 7.33. However, Breece Hall couldn't quite find their groove, scoring only 2.3 points instead of the projected 13.10.
With this win, FinsNoMoore improves their record to 6-9-0, while Tua Many Concussions shares the same record. Despite the close match, FinsNoMoore sits slightly higher in the standings at 8th place, while Tua Many Concussions lags behind at 9th. Both teams have had a rollercoaster season, but it seems FinsNoMoore has the slight edge.
Looking ahead, FinsNoMoore will face off against UTB/TSC Scorpions in the consolation semifinals next week. Will FinsNoMoore be able to carry their momentum into the next matchup? As for Tua Many Concussions, their season unfortunately comes to an end as they were eliminated before the playoffs. Maybe next year, Tua Many Concussions!
