GOOD TIMES come up short of projections, find way to defeat Highland Bashers in 107.2-68.9 romp

Both teams failed to rise to the occasion, but GOOD TIMES did enough to get the best of Highland Bashers. Predicted to triumph by a score of 123.0-96.1, GOOD TIMES cruised to a 107.2-68.9 win over Highland Bashers. Highland Bashers nabbed a 7.5-point lead on Thursday, but it was all GOOD TIMES after that. They were led by Austin Ekeler (19.3 points) and Christian McCaffrey (19.3). Jalen Hurts (155 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 27 Rush Yds) and Ezekiel Elliott (81 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) carried the flag for Highland Bashers in the loss. GOOD TIMES (4-2) will look to sustain their winning ways against Dexter, while Highland Bashers (2-4) will take on Kaolinite's Legit Team in an effort to get back on track.

Coach Talk

GOOD TIMES
Listen GOOD TIMES, I'm a glass-half-full kind of coach. While others may harp on the fact that our scoring's declined a bit recently, I'll choose to take the high road. Averaging 126.42 points through Week 5, our crew has shown it's more than capable of outperforming the 107.2 we needed for this past week's win!
Highland Bashers
Highland Bashers will find it tough to gripe about lack of opportunity this past week. As a group, our pass-catching corps (two WR, one TE) were targeted a hearty 17 times in Week 6. Those players should participate in some additional timing drills with their QBs, considering they pulled down only seven balls.
