Highland Bashers hand Dexter sixth consecutive loss in 105.98-22.80 beatdown

Highland Bashers rolled to a 105.98-22.80 win to hand Dexter their sixth straight loss. It didn't take long to learn who would be the frontrunner in this one, as Highland Bashers took a 48.98-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind outstanding efforts from Jalen Hurts and Ezekiel Elliott. Hurts passed for 217 yards , ran for 77 yards and scored 3 touchdowns for 30.38 points, while Elliott racked up 81 yards from scrimmage and ran for a touchdown (15.6 points). The San Francisco 49ers defense (10 points) and Evan McPherson (5) were the top performers for Dexter in defeat. This marks the second time this season Highland Bashers have gotten the best of Dexter, after winning 132.86-110.96 in their last matchup. Highland Bashers (9-5) will look to earn another W against GOOD TIMES, while Dexter (3-11) will match up against Richard's Reasonable Team in an effort to get back on track.

Coach Talk

Highland Bashers
Listen, Highland Bashers, we applaud you on the confidence. Playing a starter with negative points (the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense) while still getting a W... that's a bit too risky for us traditionalists. All we ask is to please limit those shenanigans to the regular season. Try it in the postseason and we're toast.
Dexter
With not a single target thrown in their direction this past week the starting RBs for Dexter clearly need to smooth things over with their quarterbacks... and remind them to dump it off more frequently.
