GC Lions exceeded expectations, rolling to a 140.42-113.96 win over Crush. GC Lions earned an early 10.00-point lead on Thursday. Crush came back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by Amon-Ra St. Brown (34.9 points) and Najee Harris (11.4). Football is all about exploiting the mismatches. Thanks to a sound display from Jalen Hurts, we doubled up Crush at the quarterback position this past week (34.02 points to 16.56). Hurts went 26-for-31 for 333 yards, one TD, and an INT in a 24-7 win over the Vikings.
Crush
Crush will find it tough to gripe about lack of opportunity this past week. As a group, our pass-catching corps (two WR, one TE) were targeted a whopping 21 times in Week 2. Chemistry and timing seem to be issues as that group managed just 13 receptions.
