Triple J fall short of projections, lose to Cheese-Head in 104.42-100.56 struggle
There's no sugarcoating it, Triple J didn't do their job, at least according to projections, as Cheese-Head eked out a 104.42-100.56 victory. Triple J made a run at it on Sunday night, but they fell short. Cheese-Head led 104.42-84.80 after the afternoon action and held on for the win despite 15.76 points from Lamar Jackson on Sunday night for Triple J. Derrick Henry (102 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 30 Rec Yds) and Justin Fields (208 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 47 Rush Yds) did the heavy lifting for Cheese-Head in the win. Cheese-Head (1-4) will look to build on their success against Run Baby Run, while Triple J (4-1) will try to get back in the win column against Justin K's Team.
Henry racked up 132 yards from scrimmage and ran for 2 touchdowns as the Titans beat the Commanders 21-17. In doing so, he put up 26.2 points and scored 74.9% higher than his scoring projection, the highest percentage of any player on Cheese-Head this week. Next week, Henry will battle the Colts.
Cheese-Head
Cheese-Head (1-4) are set to face Run Baby Run (3-2) in Week 6. Each side has two players with byes next week, as Derrick Henry and Foster Moreau are off for Cheese-Head and Robert Woods and Jamaal Williams for Run Baby Run. Over the last three weeks, Cheese-Head have scored 109.44 points per game, while Run Baby Run have averaged 113.64 per contest.
Triple J
In Week 6, Triple J (4-1, second-place) will try to get back in the win column against Justin K's Team (2-3, seventh-place). Each side has players on bye next week, as Jared Goff, Davis Mills, and Amon-Ra St. Brown are off for Triple J while Davante Adams, Daniel Carlson, and Treylon Burks are out for Justin K's Team.
