Triple J fall short of expectations, lose to Shake N Bake in 79.6-79.5 nailbiter

There's no sugarcoating it, Triple J dropped the ball, at least according to projections, as Shake N Bake staged an impressive comeback to earn a 79.6-79.5 win. Despite trailing 73.9-70.2 heading into Monday night, Shake N Bake came back behind DeAndre Hopkins (9.4 points). Tony Pollard (42 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 20 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Deebo Samuel (21 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 43 Rec Yds) carried the flag for Triple J in defeat. This marks the first time this season Shake N Bake have gotten the best of Triple J, after falling 139.12-93.2 in their last matchup. Shake N Bake ends the season on a high note, but they'll miss the postseason with a record of 7-7. Triple J (9-5) will attempt to bounce back from this loss in the playoffs.
