PIERMONSTERS lose to Stay Cappin, 220.6-203.9
There's no easy way to say it, PIERMONSTERS didn't do their job, at least compared to projections, as Stay Cappin secured a 220.6-203.9 victory. Stay Cappin nabbed an early 23.3-point lead on Thursday. PIERMONSTERS came back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by Terry McLaurin (24.5 points) and Christian Watson (24.4). Not to be deterred, Stay Cappin made a run later that afternoon, as Davante Adams (37.7 points) and Joe Burrow (36.9) put them back on top once and for all. This marks the second time this season Stay Cappin have knocked off PIERMONSTERS, after winning 221.75-205.55 in their last matchup. Stay Cappin (9-4) will look to add to their success against Blitz and Glamour, while PIERMONSTERS (7-6) try to right the ship against Patriot Killer.
While making all 4 of his FG attempts against the Dolphins, Gould scored 18 points this week. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 8.1-point projection and was much higher than his 7.62-point season scoring average. Gould will face the Buccaneers next week.
