Doc's Devils come up short of expectations, succumb to Dirty 54 in 218.00-150.90 romp

There's no sugarcoating it, Doc's Devils didn't do their job, at least based on projections, as Dirty 54 rolled to a 218.00-150.90 victory. Doc's Devils pulled out to a 2.70-point lead on Thursday, but it was all Dirty 54 after that. They were led by Trevor Lawrence, who passed for 262 yards and 3 touchdowns for 33.8 points, and Khalil Herbert, who racked up 169 yards from scrimmage and ran for 2 touchdowns (30.9 points). Kirk Cousins (24.9 points) and A.J. Brown (19.5) carried the flag for Doc's Devils in defeat. Dirty 54 (1-2) will look to build on their success against Night Hawk, while Doc's Devils (1-2) will try to right the ship against LIONPWR.

Coach Talk

Dirty 54
Spotting mismatches is a big key to success in football. Thanks to some monster yardage production from our running backs, our team certainly made that happen this week. Our three starting backs put up 138 more yards from scrimmage than the RBs on Doc's Devils (314 total yards to 176), and we ended up thoroughly dominating them at the position, 59.4 points to 23.6.
Doc's Devils
"Not seeing enough looks" won't fly as an excuse this week for Doc's Devils. Our six pass-catchers (five WR, one TE) were targeted a grand total of 42 times in Week 3. With just 21 total catches, this group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
