Offensively challenged The People’s Champ come back to top Top of The Rock, 97.28-91.66

The People’s Champ came from behind to earn a 97.28-91.66 win over Top of The Rock in spite of posting only the 10th-highest point total in the league for the week. Trailing 91.66-89.28 heading into Monday night, The People’s Champ made a run behind Robbie Gould, who made 1 of his 2 FG attempts for 6 points, and the Los Angeles Rams defense, who allowed 24 points and 327 yards (2 points). Patrick Mahomes (249 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 34 Rush Yds) and Chris Olave (4 Rec, 67 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) were the leading performers for Top of The Rock in the loss. The People’s Champ (3-1) will look to sustain their momentum against Stone Cold Bosstrin, while Top of The Rock (1-3) will attempt to get some positive momentum against AVD.

Coach Talk

The People’s Champ
You know The People’s Champ, I'm a "glass half full" kind of coach. While others may harp on the fact that our scoring's slipped lately, I'll choose to take the high road. Averaging 118.49 points through Week 3, our crew has definitely proven that it's even better than the 97.28 we needed for this past week's win!
Top of The Rock
Unless Top of The Rock wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing many chances" is definitely not a viable excuse this week. Our pass-catching corps (three WR, one TE) were targeted a grand total of 26 times in Week 4. Those players should try to get some extra practice reps in with their QBs, considering they reeled in just 14 balls.
