The Bus #36 fall short of projections, lose to The Thurmanator in 113.36-87.60 blowout

The Bus #36 failed to bring their A game, as The Thurmanator rolled to a 113.36-87.60 win. The Bus #36 earned a 19.30-point lead on Thursday behind an impressive effort from Patrick Mahomes. But it was all The Thurmanator after that. They were led by Christian Kirk, who caught 6 passes for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns for 25.3 points, and Michael Thomas, who caught 6 passes for 65 yards and a touchdown (18.5 points). The Thurmanator (2-0) will look to sustain their momentum against Dan the Man, while The Bus #36 (1-1) attempt to get back on track against Earl Campbell.

Coach Talk

The Thurmanator
Hey, we admire the confidence, The Thurmanator. Deploying a starter with zero points (Alvin Kamara), while still getting the win... talk about arrogant. We just ask you to please keep that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the early regular season. Do it in the postseason and we're toast.
The Bus #36
Unless The Bus #36 wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not getting enough chances" can't be a valid excuse this time around. As a group, our five pass-catchers (four WR, one TE) collectively got a healthy 33 targets in Week 2. With just 19 total receptions, that group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
