Zoneblitz come up short of predictions, lose to PPE Return, 123.3-84.5

There's no easy way to say it, Zoneblitz underdelivered, at least according to projections, as PPE Return earned a 123.3-84.5 victory. Zoneblitz earned a 6.0-point lead on Thursday, but PPE Return held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Jalen Hurts (38.4 points) and Justin Jefferson (18.6). Ja'Marr Chase (7 Rec, 97 Rec Yds) and Justin Herbert (335 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD) carried the flag for Zoneblitz in the loss. This marks the first time this season PPE Return have taken down Zoneblitz, after falling 144.02-74.56 in their last matchup. PPE Return (7-6) will look to keep it rolling against Deflate My Balls, while Zoneblitz (6-7) attempt to develop some positive momentum against Creepin TD.

Coach Talk

PPE Return
Spotting mismatches is a big key to success in football. Thanks to an awesome display by Jalen Hurts, we royally dominated Zoneblitz at the quarterback position this past week (38.4 points to 15.1). Hurts orchestrated a big win over the Titans, completing 29 of 39 passes for 380 yards and three touchdowns.
Zoneblitz
With two catches on only three measly targets this past week, the starting running backs for Zoneblitz should remind their quarterbacks to start checking down more often (and dial up a screen play or two).
