Newbies Rule won their third straight matchup to open the season with a hard-fought win over cheeseheads, earning a 163.93-154.03 victory. Newbies Rule grabbed a 22.3-point lead early Sunday afternoon. cheeseheads came back to take the lead late afternoon Sunday, powered by Aaron Rodgers (18.9 points) and Christian Kirk (16.2). Unphased, Newbies Rule pulled it together later that night, as Javonte Williams (15 points) put them back on top once and for all. Newbies Rule (3-0) will look to maintain their momentum against Greyhound Express, while cheeseheads (1-2) will try to get back in the win column against Big Blue.
