Chicago Bears come up short of predictions, succumb to Geonosis Bay Packers, 186.38-167.64

There's no easy way to put it, Chicago Bears underdelivered, at least compared to projections, as Geonosis Bay Packers earned a 186.38-167.64 win. Geonosis Bay Packers grabbed an early 4.50-point lead on Thursday. Chicago Bears came back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by Jared Goff (34.04 points) and Garrett Wilson (30). Unphased, Geonosis Bay Packers got it going later that night, as Aaron Jones (32 points) and Mason Crosby (9) put them back ahead for good. Geonosis Bay Packers (1-1) will look to build on their success against Denver Broncos, while Chicago Bears (0-2) will attempt to get back on track against Houston Texans.

Coach Talk

Geonosis Bay Packers
Getting the win is most important, Geonosis Bay Packers, but we've also identified one spot where we can get better as a team: our starting wide receivers were clearly outplayed by the opposition. Buoyed by a Donovan Peoples-Jones goose-egg and Equanimeous St. Brown (39 yards, no TDs), our five WRs combined for only 21.7 points in Week 2. The starting wideouts for Chicago Bears doubled us up with a score of 46.1. We need to bounce back with a big statement in Week 3!
Chicago Bears
Unless Chicago Bears wants to go full diva-mode, then "not getting enough looks" isn't really an excuse this week. As a group, our seven pass-catchers (five WR and two TE) were targeted a healthy 29 times in Week 2. With just 13 total catches, this group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
