Coach Talk

Minnesota Vikings
You know what, Minnesota Vikings, we do appreciate the confidence. It's a bold move to deploy a player with zero points (Irv Smith Jr.), while still getting the W! All we ask is to please limit that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the early regular season. Do it when the postseason rolls around, and we'll be finished.
Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders will find it tough to gripe about lack of opportunities this past week. Our pass-catching corps (six WR and one TE) collectively got a grand total of 40 targets in Week 1. Those players should participate in some additional timing drills with their QBs, considering they managed only 24 catches.
