Simmons came out on top with a 100.2-85.6 win to hand Doo Doo Browns their sixth straight loss to open the season. Doo Doo Browns earned a 10.0-point lead on Thursday, but Simmons held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Breece Hall (19.1 points) and A.J. Brown (15.2).
