Fire 1 fall to BT Charms in 132.14-68.82 beatdown
There's no easy way to put it, Fire 1 underperformed, at least compared to projections, as BT Charms cruised to a 132.14-68.82 win. Fire 1 got out to a 2.50-point lead on Thursday, but it was all BT Charms after that. They were led by Patrick Mahomes (331 Pass Yds, 4 Pass TDs, 39 Rush Yds) and Josh Jacobs (78 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 28 Rec Yds). Tom Brady (258 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs) and Tyler Bass (3-3 FG, 45 long, 3-3 XP) were the leaders for Fire 1 in the loss. This marks the second time this season BT Charms have knocked off Fire 1, after winning 116.7-102.88 in their last matchup. BT Charms (9-1) will look to keep it rolling against Gator, while Fire 1 (4-6) will try to right the ship against AttacK Klan.
McLaurin caught 8 passes for 128 yards as the Commanders beat the Eagles 32-21. In doing so, he put up 16.8 points and scored 73.2% higher than his scoring projection, the highest percentage of any player on BT Charms this week. Next week, McLaurin will square off against the Texans.
Sunday Early
Both teams had players with highlight-reel moments early Sunday, but it was BT Charms who claimed the lead, 80.04-59.02. Patrick Mahomes teamed up with Travis Kelce for a 46-yard pass for BT Charms. Tom Brady made the highlight reel for Fire 1 with a 31-yard touchdown pass.
Monday
Terry McLaurin had a 41-yard catch for BT Charms on Monday night, helping to increase the margin of victory for the team.
BT Charms
Well done, BT Charms. Deploying a lineup that won by more than 63 points this past week. Let's tip our cap to the GM of Fire 1, take this W in stride, and continue our march towards the Yahoo Public 52667 league title.
Fire 1
There's a decent chance that Fire 1 could be a better GM in the NFL than in fantasy football. Accumulating just 12 targets combined this past week, their three starting pass-catchers (two WR, one TE) apparently spent most of their games blocking downfield and running decoy routes.
