Tatanka fell short of their projected point total, as John's Wide Receiver came out on top with a 126.26-119.20 win. Tatanka nabbed a 3.30-point lead on Thursday, but John's Wide Receiver held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Curtis Samuel, who racked up 99 yards from scrimmage and caught a touchdown pass for 23 points, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who racked up 118 yards from scrimmage (17.6 points). Tony Pollard (21.7 points) and Patrick Mahomes (20.9) carried the flag for Tatanka in the loss. Nice job deploying a starting crew that produced over 126 points this past week. We did what we needed to do and took care of business. We should take this victory in stride, tip our cap to the GM of Tatanka, and continue the march towards the Game of Inches league championship.

Unless Tatanka wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not getting enough opportunities" is definitely not an excuse this time around. Our three wide receivers combined to receive a healthy 28 targets in Week 2. Timing and chemistry appear to be issues as that group recorded only 17 receptions.
