Mutinous Apes overcome starter's goose egg, come back to top SAWTOOTHS, 151.70-136.85
Despite a goose egg from Cole Kmet, Mutinous Apes were able to persevere and earn the victory, coming back to earn a 151.70-136.85 win over SAWTOOTHS. Mutinous Apes trailed 132.75-128.90 heading into Monday night, but the unit roared back behind Tyler Bass (12 points) and Derrick Henry (8.5). Jaylen Waddle (11 Rec, 171 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) and Derek Carr (252 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs) led the way for SAWTOOTHS in the loss. Mutinous Apes (1-1) will look to build on their success against Negligent Discharges, while SAWTOOTHS (0-2) take on Redlegs in an effort to get back on track.
Playing the Ravens in Week 2, Hill caught 11 passes for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns. In doing so, he put up 42 points to more-than-double his 17.01-point projection, the highest percent increase of any player on Mutinous Apes this week. Next week, Hill will square off against the Bills.
Mutinous Apes
You know what, Mutinous Apes, we do certainly respect the confidence. It takes real gumption to play a starter with zero points (Cole Kmet), while still getting a win. All we ask is to please limit that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the early regular season. Do it in the playoffs and we're finished.
SAWTOOTHS
"Not seeing many chances" shouldn't really be an excuse this week for SAWTOOTHS. As a group, our five pass-catchers (four WR, one TE) collectively got a healthy 39 targets in Week 2. With just 21 total catches, this group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
