Despite top scorer Patterson, Negligent Discharges fall to Doughboys, 144.1-137.9
Cordarrelle Patterson posted 22.3 points for Negligent Discharges, the best total in the matchup and 19th-highest in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to overcome Doughboys, who staged a comeback to earn a 144.1-137.9 win. Doughboys trailed 137.9-121.4 heading into Monday night, but the squad roared back behind CeeDee Lamb, who caught 8 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown for 22.7 points. Cordarrelle Patterson (141 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 12 Rec Yds) and Patrick Mahomes (262 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 26 Rush Yds) did their part for Negligent Discharges in defeat. Doughboys (2-1) will look to maintain their winning ways against SAWTOOTHS, while Negligent Discharges (1-2) attempt to right the ship against Warm Bodies.
While catching 8 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown against the Giants, Lamb scored 22.7 points this week. He scored 41.3% more than his 16.06-point projection and overachieved for the first time this season. Lamb ranks #79 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Commanders next week.

Doughboys
Assembling a starting crew that netted over 144 points this past week... we took care of business and did what had to be done. We should tip our cap to the GM of Negligent Discharges, take this win in stride, and continue on our way towards a fantasy title.
Negligent Discharges
Unless Negligent Discharges wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing enough chances" doesn't fly as an excuse this time around. As a group, our pass-catching corps (four WR and one TE) collectively saw a grand total of 34 targets in Week 3. With just 19 total receptions, that group may be showing signs of chemistry issues.
