Doughboys overtook Vultures in the standings, climbing to the top of the standings in OklahomIraqis League AFC with a hard-fought win, earning a 159.25-150.70 victory. Vultures nabbed a 19.15-point lead on Thursday, but Doughboys held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Terry McLaurin (8 Rec, 105 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Josh Jacobs (144 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD). DK Metcalf (26.7 points) and Josh Allen (23.15) carried the flag for Vultures in the loss. Doughboys (10-3) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs, while Vultures (9-4) will attempt to bounce back and make a run of their own in the postseason.
While catching 8 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown against the Giants, McLaurin tallied 24.5 points this week. His scoring output was 83.5% more than his 13.35-point projection and was much higher than his 13.55-point season scoring average. McLaurin ranks #50 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Giants next week.
