Coach Talk

Black Knight
Earning the win is most important, Black Knight, but we also know of one spot where we should get stronger as a team. Our wide receivers were thoroughly outplayed this past week. Held back by Allen Robinson II (12 total yards, no TDs) and Mike Williams (10 yards, no TDs), our four WRs combined for just 68.8 points in Week 1. The starting wideouts for Soupsie Iannuzzi doubled us up with a score of 148.8. Let's bounce back with a big statement in Week 2!
Soupsie Iannuzzi
Soupsie Iannuzzi will find it tough to complain about lack of opportunity this past week. Our pass-catching corps (four WR, two TE) collectively saw a grand total of 31 targets in Week 1. Chemistry and timing appear to be issues as that group reeled in only 19 receptions.
